AdamPANELIST
29:51
I don't see Ipswich scoring in that game.
AdamPANELIST
29:53
I genuinely think that we looked fairly comfortable other than that and maybe a Jack Clark chance at the end.
AdamPANELIST
29:57
But again, to your point, at the end of the game, that lapse of concentration, it looked like Jack Clark was going to score.
AdamPANELIST
30:04
And the Arsenal one was just really unlucky.
AdamPANELIST
30:06
It's heavily deflected and it went in.
Mark HeathHOST
50:31
And I do generally prefer Clarke off the bench.
Alex JonesHOST
50:34
I might go Jack Clarke.
Alex JonesHOST
50:35
I'm not sure whether it's a case of that I would go necessarily for Jack Clarke in this game.
Alex JonesHOST
50:41
I do think Gary Neal will pick Jack Clarke.
Alex JonesHOST
50:43
in this game um i think part of it is also the balance of things where if you bench philogene and clark and you want to bring them both on one has to go on the right and that is quite a a tricky bit to balance let's say because you don't want to do that so if you start with mida left fatui right and you're going to take both those off and bring your two left wingers on one will have to play out position i don't like either of them playing on the right um i also think that in a game that's like this where episodes are likely to dominate territory likely to dominate chances he's probably the one that i think will be preferred In that, we've seen him get the nod at Everton, we saw him get the nod at Crystal Palace, whereas Maida seems to be the one who is going to do the hard yards, the tracking back, the running, which is what you're going to need in games like the City one, for example, where he started there.
Alex JonesHOST
51:42
And that are going to enjoy more chances, more time on the ball, more territory, and you're going to have to suffer more out of possession.
Adam ZdroikHOST
9:44
They haven't really found their – I don't know, their go-to kind of a thing.
Adam ZdroikHOST
9:50
It could be Jack Clark on the left wing.
Adam ZdroikHOST
9:52
He came on for Philip Jean.
Adam ZdroikHOST
9:53
I don't think anyone really stands out.
HenryPANELIST
5:55
He had that sort of period where he was looking for a new club and didn't find one.
HenryPANELIST
6:00
And then Jack Clark has played really well this season on the left.
HenryPANELIST
6:05
Yet, a lot of people say his impact is best coming off the bench.
HenryPANELIST
6:07
And Maeda has just come to form in the recent few weeks.
Nick BarnesGUEST
8:42
a week or so ago at Bournemouth, because I don't think the start of the season was that bad.
Nick BarnesGUEST
8:47
Yeah, we can criticise the Ipswich performance, mainly for conceding that late goal to Jack Clarke.
Nick BarnesGUEST
8:54
But I don't think after that, people were that unhappy with the way events were going.
Nick BarnesGUEST
8:57
There was a fantastic performance at Brentford, which arguably they could have won, just they were just hapless in front of goal.

17 MINS LATER

Nick BarnesGUEST
25:52
Leeds didn't really carve anything out until, as you say, late in the game.
Nick BarnesGUEST
25:56
And ironically, I had this awful feeling that they were going to suffer again from a former injury.
Nick BarnesGUEST
26:02
You know, late strike from either a former Newcastle player or former Sunderland player, Jack Clarke, Gimmer, you know, you name it this season, I thought suddenly Longstaff was going to pop up with the winner in that scramble right at the end when it was cleared off the line pretty much.
Nick BarnesGUEST
26:19
But, um, you know, Trafford was the busier of the two keepers and he frustrated the crowd with the tactics he adopted as well in the game.
Justin PeachHOST
50:46
Look what he did with him.
Justin PeachHOST
50:48
Ahmed Diallo, Jack Clark, Bradley Duck, Danny Graham.
Justin PeachHOST
50:51
A list of players Tony Mowbray's turned into goal scorers over the last 10 years.
Justin PeachHOST
50:54
Andrejka Johnson is just another example of that.
George EdwardsPANELIST
21:56
And Wood for De Lappe in stoppage time.
George EdwardsPANELIST
21:59
In typical Forest fashion, after not taking any of those chances, Ipswich sort of went up the other end in stoppage time, broke away with Jack Clark, who did a very similar sort of move to what Gibbs-Watt did in the first half, off the left channel, drifting inside.
George EdwardsPANELIST
22:11
and looked like he was going to stick one in the far corner and win the game I think he's already scored a similar goal against Sunderland on the opening day for them um so I was sort of resigned to that but somehow it flashed wide and Forrest um Forrest held on um so yeah full-time it was it was one all it was more disappointment I think it was the overriding initial emotion because of all the chances all the possession um that Forrest had had and the fact that Once again, they'd not taken the chances and nearly lost, frankly.
George EdwardsPANELIST
22:38
But once Glasner and the players came over, I think a lot of the fans that had stayed were singing his name, were getting behind the lads.
Tom CrackHOST
13:03
Thoughts on Philo Jean in this match? I'm surprised to see him start.
Tom CrackHOST
13:06
I think Clark's better off the bench regardless of who's starting the left wing.
Tom CrackHOST
13:10
Maybe Maeda could have come in, obviously got a goal from the right Etihad last week, but opinion seems to be divided on Villagin.
Tom CrackHOST
13:16
I thought he had a good start to the second half, but there was a few moments in the game I thought where we were on the counter and he's got a bit of speed, has Villagin, but...
Ryan ReynoldsADVERTISER
15:03
no, I don't think he's quite there.
Ryan ReynoldsADVERTISER
15:04
And
James BennettGUEST
15:05
I agree with you also in the sense that Clark is better off the bench as an impact player.
James BennettGUEST
15:11
At the minute, I would still rather Clark start instead of Philogene, I think.
Benjamin BloomHOST
13:58
And then it could have gone 3-3.
Benjamin BloomHOST
14:02
Peretz, and I think the big goalkeeping moment of last season was Peretz's fingertip against Jack Clark in that brilliant Southampton-Ipswich game.
Benjamin BloomHOST
14:11
He's a great keeper, Peretz.
Benjamin BloomHOST
14:13
He makes a big save there because that could have gone 3-3.
ReissHOST
39:07
I'm just looking at the subs now.
ReissHOST
39:09
Gary O'Neill dragged Emerson off after an hour, gave Zian Fleming half an hour, gave Jack Clarke half an hour.
ReissHOST
39:15
We're giving Hudson-Odoi 20.
ReissHOST
39:17
And then we're giving Chris Wood four minutes.
