My thing with Wirtz is, A, I think the money thing I would've agreed with you literally a few weeks ago, but I think looking at it now, players are as expensive as the club that buys them makes them.

I think as soon as I saw Savinho for the money he went for, Mudryk for the money he went for, Enzo Fernandez for over 120 million, I was like, "You know what? Money doesn't matter anymore." I, I, I'm, I'm past caring about how much players are bought for because it just doesn't mean anything anymore in the market.

It's never been a question of what he can do off the ball because we've seen it from minute one.

But then I, I reviewed the transfer windows during the week, and I, I didn't love theirs.
