And yeah, the big news coming out of the Dodgers right now is that Shohei Ohtani Tell you what, the guy's got guts.

Of course, Shohei, who will be 33 come July, was 8-2, 1.79 ERA, 14 starts for the Dodgers, but then between the knee and the bicep, didn't pitch after July 3rd.

As a batter, you know, for Shohei, I would say it was an okay season, 275, 30 homers, 81 RBIs, but really was unheard of from August 18th on.

Basically hit one home run from August 18th until he hit a home run in game four of the league championship series against the Brewers.

You know, Shohei went over 110 at-bats without hitting a home run the longest of his career.

And I guess, to me... what are you gonna do you know what i mean this is why shohei chose the dodgers granted i'll give you you know he had 700 million reasons to choose the dodgers but he chose him because they told him you know hey you could do both you can pitch and you can hit but again he's going to be 33 in july right he played you know an extra month of the season the last two seasons in 24 and 25 because of the dodgers winning the world series uh you know he was he won the mvp three years in a row pca is going to do that the guy's been everything is advertised for the dodgers and and you appreciate that but there comes a time where you just have to say hey This ain't for you, man.

And I guess the fact that he was pitching so well, it wasn't like he was getting rocked.

And the injuries affected him both because he couldn't pitch and that it stopped him from hitting.

And for the Dodgers, they have to really look into this because obviously, you know, one of the priorities of the winter is going to be re-signing Tarek Skubal, right? Well, if you re-sign Tarek Skubal, what do you do with a guy like maybe Tyler Glass now, right? Do you trade him because you're going to have all this money now? that you're owing, you know, that you're owing Scooble that you didn't have on the books last year.

And of course, and if you don't have Shohei pitch, now you're down two pitchers, right? So again, he's going to pitch.

I would prefer he concentrate on hitting, but it'll be curious to see what kind of a leash the Dodgers have on Shohei moving into 27.

Again, if he comes back to spring training, starts the regular season healthy, no problems, It was just a blip on the radar, a bump in the road, this 26 injury bug.
