Damon gives his projections for how the NFC East and North divisions will go. Like, share, and subscribe!

I mean, it- it's been a little bit more frisky, but I think, uh, the Cowboys and the Eagles are really gonna be fighting it out, uh, legitimately, uh, to see who takes that division.

Uh, the Cowboys beefed up a little bit on the defensive side of the ball, and so, uh, because of that, and, you know, they, and they, um, they resigned Pickens, and, uh, Dak's back, you know, with something to prove.

And so if they can, if they can, uh, can generate good ti- good tight end play this year, I think that'll really help them be a complete team.

And- and if they also have r- really good running game production, I don't know what their running game situation is like.

Um, they have flashes, but it hasn't been consistent as it was with, uh, with Emmitt Smith, and so, um, and that's been a long time ago.

I think it's gonna be a while before they get another Emmitt, because I think running backs aren't necessarily what Dallas ...

Like, whatever it was that they used, 'cause they used to have a good feel for, uh, for running backs, but they've, they- they- they, uh, they've lost whatever scouting edge they've had on that.

[laughs] So, um, but they're- they're- they're gonna need their offense to be healthy the whole year.

And then defensively, 'cause that's where they've really tried to shore up some things, defensively they've gotta prove that they can ... 'Cause they can get leads, but they gotta prove that they can hold a lead, um, a- and get stops when they need to.

I got Dallas winning 12 games and losing five this year, 'cause I- I think that they're, um, there are a lot of winnable games for them, and this is a, this is a prove-it year.

If he doesn't produce results, um, and get them deep into the playoffs between, within the next two years, it's- it's time to- to trade him away, uh, to, and- and- and try to, like, rebuild that position, because I am of the opinion just watching the way he plays that he can, he can, he can win you games, but he's- he's not gonna be a serious contender, uh, in playoff game situations.

And because of that I- I- I think that, uh, in two years if he doesn't get beyond, uh, the first round of the playoffs or, uh, you know, at least get them to the, to the NFC Championship, they're gonna have to cut bait and, um, you know, move on.
