Ep. 21 Die Hard on GameCube

Sean, you told me you stopped watching Die Hard after the third one.

Yes, I have not seen any of the Die Hard movies after Die Hard...

What is it? It's the one where they're in New York, and Samuel L.

Jackson's in it.

Ah, With a Vengeance.

With a Vengeance, yeah.

I've seen all up until those ones, Die Hard 1, 2, and With a Vengeance.

Well, then you're in luck, because this is supposed to be the fourth Die Hard film.

Okay.

Yeah, so instead of reviewing a certain Die Hard film, like those millennial burger joints, we do things a little differently around here.

I like it.

And we're just going to review this film, or fourth installment of Die Hard.

Let's do it.

It's kind of like with Ghostbusters the video game.

It's supposed to be like the spiritual third film.

So that's basically what we have here, but then when the fourth one did come out a few years after this, I think about five years later, that's the fourth film, obviously.

Okay, so this is no longer canon.

Yeah, and it wouldn't make sense anyway, because his daughter's a cop in this one, she's not in the fourth one.

Okay,

yeah, definitely already continuity issues.

Um...

Well, playing the game, you could kind of tell that there was a lot of things kind of just pieced and stitched together as far as a storyline it seemed like.

Yeah, we watched the clips all pieced together, and maybe I just didn't pay attention as much while I was playing the game and seeing all the clips, but a lot of it didn't make sense and wasn't very well thought out.

Yeah, there's like an art dealer.

We're going to spoil it, right? I don't think we have to worry about somebody complaining that we spoiled a GameCube movie game.
