DOD290: It Was An Accident!

Here's what's going to happen.

You have two choices.

You can start the episode by telling me 97 Dogman references that you don't know, but I phrase everything as a quiz because I watched those on YouTube.

Or else I'm gonna make a bad decision.

Welcome to my life.

Am I doing a bad job? Here's the thing about being a gentle parent, because we're the first generation of gentle parents.

Tom, you can see yourself out.

We're

the first generation of gentle parents.

So you know what no one has spoken about? Is that raising a little fucking piece of shit and raising a fully, like, person who feels respected and loved through gentle parenting...

identical experiences for dad.

Like,

here's the thing.

If my son is 18 and is arrested in a Wendy's because they told him they were out of chili and he dropped his pants and began to shat violently against the register, I'll go, oh yeah, no, that's on me.

I gentle parented him.

And if he becomes a leader of men who solves the crisis in the Middle East, I'll be like, oh yeah, it's because I gentle parented him.

There is, No indication which direction we are

headed.

I don't even know if I can technically be gentle parent, technically, because I gentle parent, as I say, for the first five to ten times.

And then we run out of time on the earth and I start having to yell because it doesn't do anything.

So that's where I am.

So I'm really like a Harvey Two-Face.

I'm doing both.

You know what? I'm diversifying my approach here.

I'm gentle parenting, and then I'm also yell dad.
