Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez has reached an agreement in a civil lawsuit brought by Perry Toll, the truck driver that police say Sanchez fought downtown in October of 2025.
Court records show an October 6th court entry says the parties appeared for a conference on October 2nd and notified the court that they have reached an agreement in principle.
The filing also noted that Toll's lawyers would file a motion to dismiss on or before January 8th of 2027.
In the criminal case, Sanchez is set to plead guilty in connection with the fight.
Happening today, Jeffrey Wisheit will have his first clemency hearing inside the Indiana State Prison.
Wisheit is scheduled to die by lethal injection on November 5th for murdering his fiancée's children in 2010.
As Tim Spears with Indiana's I-Team reports, the children's father is asking Governor Mike Braun to grant clemency.

Jeffrey Wisheit will have a pair of clemency hearings in the coming days in his attempt to avoid his death sentence for the murders of eight-year-old Alyssa Lynch and five-year-old Caleb Lynch.

Now, their father is asking for mercy, saying he forgives the man who killed his children.

This was the scene in 2010, the husk of a home in Vanderburgh County where Jeffrey Wisheit killed two children.

He duct-taped five-year-old Caleb Lynch, then lit road flares in the boy's underwear.

Caleb died in the fire, along with his sister, eight-year-old Alyssa Lynch, who was inside at the time.

Now, ahead of Wisheit's November 5th execution, the children's father, Steven Lynch, says, "Jeffrey, I forgive you." Steven Lynch signed this affidavit asking Governor Mike Braun to grant clemency, writing, "What good does it do the memory of my children to put this man to death? With the remaining years of his life, he would be able to continue seeking the Lord's forgiveness." Wisheit's attorneys are asking the Indiana Supreme Court for a 14-day delay to his execution to give time for brain scans to shed light on his mental state, information Governor Braun said he would consider if the scans happened.
We'd want it so we could take it under consideration.
And then the legal team that represents the state would look at that and advise me accordingly.

Governor Braun did not grant clemency to Benjamin Ritchie or Roy Lee Ward ahead of their executions last year.

Steven Lynch is asking for Wisheit to be allowed life in prison without the possibility of parole.

What I want is to extend an act of mercy." Wisheit's attorney made clear that Steven Lynch does not speak for the children's mother.

There will be a public clemency hearing on Monday inside the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis.
