So if something is more than three inches away from the edge of the trees in that straight line that you're trying to target, you can't hit it.

Vice versa, if you're in the trees, if you're more than three inches from the edge of a particular edge, you can't see out past that edge.

Nope.

Likewise, if you've got two models within the same piece of trees, and that tree line is, let's just say it's eight inches wide, right? And there is four inches between the two models that are both inside the trees, they can't see each other.

And also, finally, you can't see through trees.

You can't go, I'm on one side of the trees, I can't see past the other, unless you've got, again, caveats, various special abilities like Isle of Sight, Tree Sight, which is one that old Umbre can do to people, or on top of that, if you're fucking huge, like a colossal, you just see over it.

The thing that's been hilarious about War Machine.

So this whole thing they've got now is called hidden.

If you're in a piece of terrain and you don't shoot, you are hidden.

That means you cannot be targeted by the enemy if they are more than 15 inches away from you.

But it also means you can't see through a piece of terrain unless you are in it.

No, there's also another...

You can have your toe inside the piece of terrain and see through it.

But then on top of that, there's also...

If

you are a colossal, whatever they're called nowadays, if you're a colossal, you can see over things.

And so if you're on the backside of a piece of terrain, but one foot is in it, you can still be seen because they're titanic or something like that.

And

then there's the other thing, which is like this thing.

You can't see into the piece of terrain if you're more than 15 inches away.

And then on top of that, actual line of sight also still matters.
