[dramatic music] In order to take down Fisk, Matt had to do the unthinkable, and reveal himself as Daredevil to the courtroom, and to the world, which resulted in a mistrial, and Karen Page being set free.
Now, as things are in this world, any punch on Fisk risks a counter-punch, and Fisk shuts down the courtroom, and declares a state of emergency.
This happens after Bullseye has pulled a fast one of his own, and now we have a lockdown courtroom with protesters outside.
It's over.
[panting] It's over for both of us.
As they go their separate ways, we come back into what the world looks like after Fisk.
Matt and Karen have a brief moment of normal life that lasts for about one poignant dinner.
Bullseye, proving that no good deed goes unrewarded, heads off into the sunset with a new benefactor, our Mr. Charles, obviously heading to do dirty works abroad for king and country.
Radiohead takes us out, and we see our villain and hero in two very different places.
Fisk is in exile, looking out over the ocean, contemplating staying, contemplating going.
And Matt Murdock is in jail, behind bars, gathering his strength for season three.
