Echo is sort of that level.

Looking at rank three, an example here is Luke Cage.

So you can see rank three, three karma, health, took a pretty big jump from 30 to 150, also has damage reduction.

Gonna talk about that in a minute.

But Luke Cage would be a level three character or rank three character.

An example of a rank four character, Captain America, Steve Rogers.

So rank four, karma four, damage reduction, health is not as high as Luke Cage, but has much higher focus.

Focus also is a spendable resource, I should mention.

It's so well built such that it is consistently able to outvote the power that it does, and the only real question is how well it's able to play around whatever counterplay your opponent may have access to, whether that be Location changers, things that deal with ongoings, things that prevent Ancient One from popping off, things like that.

Or Luke Cage, right? Those are the things by which the game is defined.

The game is very rarely defined by, I am relying on the eight points of power from Scorpion and the seven points of power from Blink.

That's just now seven points of power from Blink.

Yeah, afflict the weakest enemy card here minus three power.

Like that kind of stuff.

Well, Luke Cage exists, and you can play into that if you know what you have.

Like, okay, I'll keep my weakest card here.

This was the first, I believe, of all the noir miniseries they made.

There was a Wolverine one, an X-Men one, a Luke Cage one, I think.

But none of them really...

I think there was a Daredevil one as well, which I read, which I thought was okay, but not great.

Whereas this one...

There was a Spider-Man, Daredevil, Punisher, Luke Cage, Wolverine, and there was a Weapon X one as well, which is basically Wolverine anyway.

And yeah, the ones, I think, yeah other than spider-man they really haven't continued and i think you're right i think like you said daredevil is very noir there's a bit of wolverine that's in there as well punisher especially luke cage even yeah and they're all kind of and i think that's probably why they maybe gravitated towards those characters uh there was an iron man one as well um i can't remember that one all all that well but i think it was kind of world war ii thing going on uh like it was because he's a weapons manufacturer isn't he so it makes sense yeah how howard hughes you know he's based on how he's used so they kind of i can see where they're going but i don't remember that one being particularly you know groundbreaking either but but there you go yeah i think that's i think what you've said there is yeah spot on like it's it's a character that wasn't already really in that world that has been firmly planted in it
