Ep 138: 'Threshing Day' | Full Review & Discussion Part 1

[laughs] Why do you think Sawyer is the other Venin brother?

I'm trying to remember now, but I remember this was a note I wanted to keep in my head, so it's been a bit and I am struggling to remember.

Sawyer ha- There was something going on with Sawyer and his dragon, where I was like, "Oh, fuck.

All right.

Sawyer is such a different character in this than what we get from Violet."

He's insecure, isn't he?

Incredibly so.

Which I think does play into feeling insecure or not enough to get the power, and, like, why he would draw from the earth.

I think it's not just a matter of that, I think it's also a matter of ...

So for the reasons Xaden did it, is to protect people, blah, blah, blah.

You just aren't enough.

Xaden kinda did it too because he was not enough, and maybe not insecure but, you know what I mean, fell short of his own expectations.

Yeah.

So I think that it's reasonable that Sawyer would be the next one.

If it's Garrick, I'm gonna lose my fucking mind, and I know it ain't Ridoc.

Ridoc didn't even want a fucking dragon, really.

[laughs] Like, he did, but he didn't really.

[laughs] I don't think it's Ridoc either.

I am very far behind.

I wanna put a disclaimer out there that we have read the other three books.

We have not done a reread in over a year.

Since Onyx Storm, so-

Yep

... yeah.

So no facts here.
