I'm co-writing and producing a band, Vesper Rose, here in Los Angeles.

They're a punk band, gothy, kind of AFI sounding band.

And that's headed by jack cash and uh he was it he was in a band uh bullets and octane for a little bit you worked with him before right is

this a continuation i'm sorry this is a continuation because you worked with him before i believe you talked about him before

And I always, if you notice, I try to cite older stuff and newer stuff, more contemporary.

Um, listen, on the show, the reason we've got you lads, um, on this week is because on the show this week, I know we did something very similar about AFI last week in a beginner's guide, but today we're gonna be going through the career, um, and giving you a beginner's guide to a band who I think are one of the most consistently brilliant bands in heavy music of this millennium.

And it kinda comes alongside something which is very sad, and I feel kinda sad that we're doing it in these circumstances, but we'll talk about that in a second.

We're gonna be giving you a beginner's guide to Every Time I Die.

even AFI are a lot bigger than Every Time I Die kinda ever were.

But I don't know, there's just something really special about the thing that they did, which I think meant that they could never be commercially as big as any of the bands that got big.

So we don't need to do that.

There'd be somebody in a band who's like, I don't fucking care to play with AFI.
