So Savannah was born on August 9, 1995 in Belcourt, North Dakota on the Turtle Mountain Reservation at the age of 10.

And then after that, when she was in her late teens, she moved with her family to Fargo, North Dakota, which is ultimately where she ended up being brutally murdered.

She ended up graduating from Warwick High School in 2013 and then went on in 2014 to earn her certified nursing assistant license.

And she used that to begin working at a senior living community called Eventide and really began to settle in in life.

And it was around this time that she moved with her family to Fargo, She moved to a different Eventide facility and she was incredibly happy.

According to her family, they mainly moved to Fargo for her because she had so much drive and so much opportunity and Spirit Lake, in their words, couldn't hold her.

So they moved to a larger city where she could really get the most out of life.

They had been dating since she was 15 years old, and now at the age of 22, they were expecting their first child.

At the time, Savannah was living in a basement apartment in Fargo with her mom, her dad, and her younger brother.

She had always loved horses, so she wanted to be able to get a piece of land, a big house for everyone to live in, space to have horses.

And at the very beginning of September, Ashton and Savannah had planned to move into their own apartment together.

Everything was set up and ready to go just in time to set up a space for Haisley.

But unfortunately, 13 days before that could happen, the most horrific thing happened.
