The most frequent update in Richie's case comes from Brittany, his daughter, who runs the Facebook page Missing Richie Collins.

In a post dated December 18, 2021, she wrote, Hello NamUs Regional Program Specialist.

I need your help, please.

Can you confirm if my father, Richie Collins' DNA and detailed description of his remains, including date, location of discovery, and items found with him were sent to you within 30 days of discovery of his remains as required by Washington state law? He went missing in March or April of 2019.

My family and myself kindly asked a dozen times for him to be entered into NamUs and Detective Gates told us over and over again he was.

As you can see, his NamUs case was not created until December 2019.

Now, his remains were found in July 2021 and it has been six months.

His unidentified remains are not showing up on NamUs, so I need help.

In 2008, Patricia's case was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

Her children, Christine and Michael, provided DNA.

Then, in April of 2011, the family submitted DNA samples again.

But the Charlie Project lists that she was last seen on June 1st, but in their written information on the exact same page, it says that her family's last contact with her was in June or July.

NamUs says the exact same thing.

And then Ricardo, her father, said that he last saw her around June 19th.

I have no clue where the February date's coming from, but it just goes to show that there is just not that much information out there.

She has a Hello Kitty on her upper arm.

The word queen with a crown is on one of her hands, I'm not sure which, and a Phillies P is on the back of her neck.

It was even more upsetting to find that her NamUs profile hadn't even been created until May of 2026, which was almost eight years after her father said that she stopped calling.

And so that means that for eight years, even if someone was searching for her name, they would have found pretty much nothing.

Billy's Law, or the Help Find the Missing Act, became public law number 117-327 on December 27th, 2022.

The act reads, "To increase accessibility to the National Missing and Unidentified Person System, to facilitate data sharing between such systems and the National Crime Information Center database of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and for other purposes." Billy's Law will force the United States Attorney General to oversee NamUs, finally creating the national centralized system that connects all missing persons cases, remains found, unclaimed persons, case details, evidentiary support, and help coordinate national communication.

This act provides technical support to families of missing and unidentified loved ones and will create and give investigative support to unsolved cases.

It will also oversee creation and use of new technologies to facilitate data entry in a timely manner into the NamUs system, which in turn increases the chances of remains being claimed and cases being solved.

One of the most important aspects of this act is the sending of reports to law enforcement that have jurisdiction of remains found, information on missing or deceased persons regardless of age.

This will be a vital key in identifying remains because law enforcement just doesn't have access to the information from other cities, towns, or states.

In the past, this was known as linkage blindness.

Section J of the act states, "To conduct data analytics and research projects for the purpose of enhancing knowledge, best practices, and training related to missing and unidentified person cases, as well as developing NamUs system enhancements." Billy is still missing, but because of activists in this community, selfless love from web sleuths dedicated to giving families answers, and his own family's relentless love in seeking answers in Billy's case, this act will provide answers to millions of Americans that we have been waiting decades for.

Investigators have never confirmed this sighting, and it brings about a whole new set of theories.

Unfortunately, Jacob's case has not been entered into NamUs, but it appears that the Santa Cruz and Pima County Sheriff's Offices are continuing to work on his case.

Currently, there are no further plans to search the Madera Canyon, and Jacob's family and friends are hopeful that one day they will have answers.

Michael Doan is described as a white male with graying brown hair, blue eyes, stands approximately five foot 10 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds.

Michael has the following tattoos: a longhorn skull on his chest, an eagle on his back, a Tasmanian devil on his left shoulder, and a picture of the Beatles on his right shoulder.

According to both NamUs and The Charley Project, Michael was last seen wearing a yellow jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
