Our first-ever 6-figure launch started with a cold email I didn’t respond to. Twice. The third time, I wrote back. A few months later, we ran a 3-day free virtual summit that drove $101,666 in revenue…
Anna ReichGuestWe're talking about the six-figure launch we pulled off this summer, our first ever six-figure launch, and it all started with a virtual event called The Membership Summit, a free three-day live summit on building memberships.
This was a joint effort with a third-party team called After Harvest, and this whole thing was the idea of this guy named Sean, who runs After Harvest, and his team really supported us in making this summit a reality.
We had one guest who came in and did a fireside for about 20 minutes, and it led into a launch campaign for Build a Beloved Membership.
If you missed it, I'll include a link in the show notes for 50% off the self-paced version of Build a Beloved Membership.
That is the same price, the same offer we made during the launch campaign, so if you missed it and you're interested in building a membership, that is in the show notes.
This whole effort was a massive lift, and for my team, two members of which were brand new at the beginning of May, it was really a trial by fire.
I spoke at a virtual summit right after that, and then ultimately hosting this event June 23rd to the 25th, before running a four-week cohort all through July.
It was a brutal couple of months, and I certainly experienced more burnout than I have in a very long time.
But it was a massive success in many ways, and I wanted to do a full recap with Anna for you to learn from as well.
So in this episode, we'll run through all the numbers of the event, the timeline of how and when this all came together, things we'd do the same way again, things we would do a little bit differently, and what an 80/20 approach to this strategy looks like.
