Open weight models as of July 1st were just 27% market share of tokens.

And this is data from a company named Vercel.

And recently, in August 25th, that number hit 55%.

So a double in usage.

on.

And yeah, CMO at Vercel.

That is awesome.

Yeah.

So every, as Matt was saying earlier, Astra is getting a lot of credit for doing excellent 3D modeling.

So I took another product that we have that's like I've mentioned this on the show before, but it builds foundational capability around vibe coding, and it has all of these points that you have to establish, like what's your GitHub organization, how do you establish Vercel and Supabase and whatever.

And I just gave it a one-shot prompt of, I think it was something along the lines of, turn this into a cutesy 3D world game for kids that creates a character that allows them to walk around and do the various parts of the game.

And it single-shotted a pretty plausible, cutesy little environment with a little character that you could control.

And it would go to various little cabins.

And there's your Vercel cabin.

And it would explain how Vercel works.

And then you walk over to the next one and give you little rewards and things like that.

I don't use Airtable.

I use Vercel, but, um, I hear it's a really good product

... annual recurring revenue with a 20% year-over-year growth.

And here's what that tells us.

I guess maybe I'm just conflating it with some other type of like crappy sass.

There's Render, there's Vercel, there's Replit, there's what is it like front end or front? There's a front page design.

Like there's so many, just 20 bucks a month, 50 bucks a month AIs, startups that do the same thing.

If you, if you just Googled Replit right now, I bet you'd see a ton of Google ads for different competitors you've never heard of.

They become completely susceptible and it's a prime target.

You can go through Vercel and stuff and look at the actual vibe coded apps that are being published constantly just by the DNS name.

So people are crawling these constantly to see what they can find.

And the skill set that it takes to do that is so small now that, an example, there was a company very recently, e-commerce company.

I feel a bunch of ways about this.

I saw Guillermo, I forget his first name, but the CEO of Vercel effectively make a tweet that he's like, with AI, we should no longer assume that vulnerabilities can occur.

We should assume that everything is vulnerable.

And what do we do now? And I'm like, brother, that has been the posture, the mental posture of every cybersecurity person for the last like 10 or 15 years

What are the... mental attitudes, risk models, and postures you should have such that when a vulnerability is published, you know what to do about it, right? And I think, again, AI is just making this more obvious, okay? So this is not a new thing.

These are just things that we're now hearing about more publicly because Sam and Guillermo and others are talking about it.

It's everything but more so, right? You're injecting steroids into the problem, right? I also like, again, for the audio listeners, I can air quote the CEO of Vercel, Guillermo, whatever his name is.

I can air quote the hell out of his expertise on this topic.

We go and probably ask, you know, somebody on the product team or somebody on the engineering team, like, "Hey, can you, can you bump this up against our pricing database?" And then, you know, they get to it when they get to it, and it kinda comes back and, like, there's just this long loop of like, okay, it's, it's not real-time, it's not helpful, right? It's, it's just kind of like we're all just passing things along in order for it to get back to the customer.

Um, and so one of our, our, uh, one of our salespeople went, took, uh, took a kind of Vercel solution or a Vercel app that they built.

Currently, it points to a spreadsheet that's updated with all of our pricing.

Uh, this is before, you know, we're, we're kind of getting the blessing of our engineering team to hook it up to the database.

And again, this is kind of MVP early innings, like you said, but to me, I guess, like, the power of being able to customize solutions for our business because we have these unique aspects of it is, like, pretty cool, and I think, like, we're, again, starting to see some of the early pieces.

I think what's interesting right now, and I think something that I'm, um, preaching, is that these-- and, and what we're doing is, is building a platform that we can access all of these tools from a single place, right? Like, what-- The challenge it-- Right now, they kind of live in little Vercel apps, but we're pushing them-
