So, obviously, you had the two big uh not really free agents but you had the two potential contracts kale mccarr of colorado and of course our own quinn hughes and really the question was which one was going to drop first and now obviously the mccarr deal is finished so how does this change things uh kalisha what do you think
For me, I think that at this point, Quinn is still going to sign a three-year.
Now, when it comes to the AAV, it would be funny if he pulled off a Conor McDavid sign.
Like, you know, like, when Capriza signed his extension, and then Emerson's like, okay, we're just going to extend McDavid to $12.5 million, where we still want cap flexibility to build a contender.
So this is a different situation where the Wild are on a clock, where they need to do better than the second round where they lose in five games.
You know, like, even though we roughed up Makar where the Avalanche wasn't the same.
And it's like, you know, we hear so, like, of course, McKinnon has the cup, you know, over McDavid.
But it's like, I still would put McDavid as the top center in the league just because, you know, with the Edmonton Oilers, They ain't the avalanche where McDavid carried Edmonton.
Like, Edmonton hasn't had no goaltending stability, you know? Like, it's just a different situation.
