I mean, the trend from June continued.
Four runs allowed, whether earned or not, just total runs in that series was impressive.
Took advantage of a team, like you said, that was down, kind of riddled with some injuries, but they're getting paid handsomely, so I don't feel too bad for them.
Yeah, it was some clutch hits.
Multiple runs driven in, home runs from each, and actually Rogers with a couple home runs during the week.
Albeit he had that hot streak after Dingler had the scare with the redirected foul ball that smashed into his hand and thumb, which I was surprised when he came back out to give it a go.
And then when he left, I'm thinking, of course I'm thinking bad, like, damn, the adrenaline's wearing off.
He's really starting to feel it.
This could be a breaker fracture based on the fact that it landed directly on top of that thumb where you, it's so easy to break a bone in there.
Um, but he's day to days and actually he just came back yesterday.
Right.
Uh, as well.
So on all for a couple of days, scare good for him.
Uh, if anything, I figured they would hold them out entirely instead of putting them on the ILS.
That way he could be ready for the, uh, first series to come back and not have to miss any calendar extra days beyond that.
But starting pitching was great for Amber, had a good bounce back solid.
Finally needed that nine Ks.
I think it's seven innings.
Um, uh, What do you have here? Three hits, corner run, no walks.
I mean, that's probably the best start I feel like he's had all year.
I mean, that is ace stuff right there.
I mean, and that's kind of not in the 9Ks, but Montero has gone through seven like that.
