Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay absolutely dominated the 2026 Emmys! We chat about our love for the show and our other favorites that took home awards. The Pokémon 30th Anniversary TCG set is finally here, and…
Yeah, so I mean, I watched most of it.
I was kind of going back and forth between that.
and the game i think i was watching right one of the games i was watching um and the big thing was obviously and we talked about it because it was a show that we both enjoyed was whittles bay kind of just like just running running basically dominated um honestly broke a record most wins for a comedy series i believe so it was like 14 14.
And it was crazy because when I was like looking into some of the stuff, because I know it broke the record, I was like, damn, like what? Was there anything else that was like close to that or whatever? But it's not like the most all-time, which I realized I didn't...
Which is crazy.
for a while was the big one.
They did it like multiple years, like putting up big numbers.
But yeah, 14 was pretty nuts.
And it was... a funny thing because we, I think you got into it a little late, right? The show.
Cause I, I had kind of watched it and you were like thinking about doing it and then.
Yeah.
Like I
wanted to watch it.
It just did it.
And then I'm like, okay, I'm definitely watching this now.
Yeah.
And we, I remember you, when you started getting into it, you're like, Oh yeah.
I really like, and I was like, yeah, this is pretty sick.
And I, I love the show because of obviously it's a horror, but it had like crazy, amazing comedy and the timing and everything.
What best comedy? Yeah, which, I mean, I hate that awards.
I mean, Emmy's a little different, but I hate when the awards are, like, you know, comedy, musical, for instance, like, when it comes to, like, you know, Oscars and stuff.
It's
because it's 30 minutes is why it gets put in that category, which is dumb.
