Or there are sneaker spotlights of, I think, players like Angel Reese and Enrique Odelale where those pieces of the sneaker are worn.

And Mark was one of the people who brought me into Topps back in the day, the co-creator of Garbage Pail Kids.

And Mark was also famously present for the Vivian Vance story that I have told on this show.

And there's a good segue to my next card because it's not numbered, but it is the 2018 Topps Chrome number 150, the pitching refractor card.

Okay.

So it's a refractor PSA 10, same thing, $8,000 a couple of months ago, it's down to 4,000.

At the end of the day, people have to choose, well, they don't have to choose, they can have them all or have none of them.

But would you rather have a higher end product that has a lot more of, or would you rather have, you know, maybe a lower end product that doesn't have as many? This is a tricky one, to be honest.

The Refractor, I think that card, all those Topps cards, those Topps Chrome cards, they all went up in value like crazy.

And part of the reason why is because one went up.

He put the code in.

It gets mailed to him from, I think it was FedEx, from Topps.

There's on his video, the front of his house, you can see the FedEx driver walking up with a package.

He leaves the package and then he walks back to the UPS.

And when my buddy comes to the door, it's got a slit in it and the card had been taken out.

Like they can tell there's a card in there.

And one of the issues is when Topps sends things, it shouldn't say Topps is the return address.

It shouldn't say CU, you know, Collectors Universe.

And yes, I know there are people out there who were sports cards fanatics from when they were kids, and the sports cards are doing the exact same thing they did in 1991.

Fanatics, which took over the Topps licensing brand, if you were a kid, you remember those Topps cards, produced over 429 million cards for its flagship NBA set this season.

1.26 million copies of each base card.

Jackie Robinson has 16 cards from his playing days.

Card sales peaked at about $1.2 billion in 1991.

The number of collectors fell from 15.1 million to 11.1 million by 1993 before the baseball strike and the strike finished it.

Topps printed a billion cards in 1986.

One researcher estimated 2.5 million copies of every card in the set.

So, yeah, I think that's a good idea, though, because you know how much value is there just by seeing that.
