So a rainy first weekend for Austin City Limits music festival caused the annual event in Zilker Park to earn a few nicknames.

C3, the organization that puts on the festival, worked with contractors to try to deal with the mud.

One of those was Texas Turf, who we caught up with at the festival as they were laying down massive rolls of artificial grass.

They told us C3 had called them that same day, Saturday morning, just a few hours before doors opened, to actually get their assistance.
I'm just thankful that they called us, and then we also always answer our phones.

C3 has said they have already begun to remove the temporary turf for weekend two, which a lot of people were curious about, whether the turf was gonna remain for weekend two or not.
It's more difficult, actually, to pick it up than it is to actually roll it out.
It's gonna be full of mud, dirt, um, water, so it's gonna be heavy.
It's gonna be dirty.
But that being said, it will definitely be able to be reused.

Freelance journalist Natalie Grigson and our creative producer Kelsey Bradshaw are here to discuss what happens now.
It was the type of, uh, uh, you know NeverEnding Story, when they're, like, pulling the horse out of the muck, the very tragic scene that trauma- traumatized all the Millennials?
