So I kind of did fall asleep while watching this, and I've seen it a million times, so, like, it's fine.
I still probably couldn't give you a good plot overview, but I think that's
kind of the point.
That's exactly what Eric said, and I was like, this movie is the Odyssey.

But I woke up, and it was, like, I fell asleep for 10 minutes also, not, like, that long.

Well, I was looking up some dates because I was like, I wonder like what inspired this and then what was inspired by it because I was looking.
I like it was the one scene towards the beginning where he like saves her and in the taxi and they're like flying over New York Star Wars.
And it's just straight up Attack of the Clones from Star Wars.

And can you fill me in on what happens in the movie?

So honestly, this whole scene was kind of like a rip, I guess.
Because I was looking it up, and this movie came out before Attack of the Clones.

And there's like books and I don't know, whatever.
I couldn't really find because people on Reddit were saying that like George Lucas credited some ideas to this movie and then other people on Reddit were saying he never said that.

In Attack of the Clones, there's this one scene where Anakin Skywalker is looking all sexy.
Honestly, yeah, no, it's kind of the scene, I think.
It might have been like a little after the scene.

But there's this like shapeshifter who's trying to like kill
Padme.
It's always a shapeshifter.
Like that seems like the easiest way to write a sci-fi movie.
Yeah.
And then like the shapeshifter runs out essentially into traffic, but it's like above in
the sky.
It's like a vertical traffic.
Yeah, like, vertical traffic.
And they're in, like, space cars, like, zooming through the city, of course, on, like, above everything.
And, like, just trying to...
They're trying to catch her.
She's trying to get away from them.
It's a whole thing.
We're talking about the fifth element, just so you guys know, if you haven't gotten that.
