We're back! On this episode of Chewing on Pearls we spit fact and spew fiction in the latest installment of our current events series, THAT'S GOSSIP! Join us as we gush over the arrival of Rose Bean…
So, uh, on September 11th, Lady Gaga was photographed carrying a baby in Marin County in Northern California, causing the internet to explode with congratulations, dot, dot, dot, and speculation.
Gaga has yet to publicly comment, but TMZ has reported Gaga and Michael welcomed their first daughter, Rose Bean Polansky, on June 9th, 2026.
Since the birth of their daughter, the couple has relocated to Marin County while keeping a low profile, supposedly.
Uh, recently, numerous paparazzi photos of Gaga dating back to July and August have also been released.
So we're gonna kind of work backwards, I think, just as kind of this barrage of imagery has worked backwards-
Mm-hmm
...
in an interesting way.
But how are we feeling? We're feeling like congratulations, Gaga and Michael.
[laughs]
Yes.
We are so happy for them.
Um, and we knew it was coming.
I don't think Gaga was being shy about her having children being the next thing that she was gonna do after Mayhem.
Talked a lot about her family, her growing family even, on the tour, which now, you know, like, sleuths online are, like, going back and, like, trying to figure out when exactly all of this started happening and, you know...
Not to get too ahead of ourselves, there has been a lot of conversation about how this child was born, and here at Chewing on Pearls, we're not gonna comment on the choices that people make when they have children.
We are just-
No
... going to celebrate the fact that Rose Bean Polansky is, is here and happy and healthy as far as we know.
Totally.
I think what I will comment on is the way that people comment on it.
I guess I naively, and, and this is maybe just speaking from the experience of someone who does not have a uterus, um, I was, like, kinda shocked at how divisive, like, the concept of surrogacy is, um, when I view it as something that, you know, I, I wouldn't...
I don't know if it's common per se, but I feel like for celebrities of a certain age, of a certain stature, like, we've seen it before.
Um-
Yeah
