A Chassid overhears a Chabad farbrengen discussing the deepest mysteries of G-dliness. Fascinated, he thinks, *“If talking about G-d is so wonderful, imagine actually talking to Him!”* So he heads off…

He says, there was a chassid walking through Bnei Brak, and he heard through the open windows of a Beis Medrash of Chabad them having a febrein and talking about or and maor and atzmus and ma'us, and the more they spoke about it, the more he was intrigued and he was enchanted, and he said, this is amazing stuff.

And he's listening, he's listening, and then he thinks to himself, if talking about God is so gashmak, can you imagine what it would be like if I go speak to him? So I'm going to go to the breast love.
So I don't know if it's appropriate to slap somebody on Shabbos, but was that your reaction, or did you just respond in kind?

No, it actually, at first, I mean, I knew what he was doing, and at first it stung a little bit, because there's a grain of truth to it.
And again, for most people, most of the time it's not, but you know, who is he to say that? And like, again, so you're saying you could just go in your, your, your, your, your ignorance of not learning and be able to just like automatically just connect on such a deep level.
