Sermon - A Great Shaking is Coming - Acts 16:25-40

Um, I said I wanna begin with prayer, so let's try that.

If you wanna open your hands, I, I just would invite you to.

Close your eyes.

I love Marco's word for us this morning, "Be still and know that I am God." So let's just start there.

Just be still and know that He is God.

If you're a Christian, like, he- here's the prayer.

Holy Spirit, Father, Son, I release every outcome of my life to you.

I release every one, I release every thing.

Living God, I wanna be faithful to you.

I ask, Lord, by the power of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God, I ask that you would share your heart with me, that you'd share your mind with me, you'd let me see reality as it is, that you'd let me see you as you are, that you'd let me see myself as I am.

God, I confess, I've been so distracted by so many, so many things.

God, would you just come like a purifying fire and consecrate me to you, set me apart for you? My life is yours, God.

Your ambitions are better than mine.

Your desires are better than mine.

Your ways are better than mine.

So again, Lord, just come and share your heart with me.

Come and share your mind with me.

I wanna see as you see, I wanna feel what you feel, I wanna love what you love, I wanna hate what you hate.

If you want something said, I wanna say it.

If you want me to move a certain way, I wanna move there.

If you want me to give certain things up, I wanna give them up.

If you want me to take certain things on, I wanna take those things on.

Lord Jesus, you've redeemed me, you've purchased me.

I'm yours.

I wanna live like it, and I wanna see your church live like it, too, and I wanna see your spirit poured out in our city so that thousands and thousands and thousands more people can come into your family, Lord.
