Celtic Down Under - It's Like Having A New Player

So for me, looking at this lineup when it was announced the hour and a bit before the game, uh, there was three or four things that jumped off the page at me.

The first thing was our center back pairing.

Straight away, gave me the fear.

So Sinisalo in goals, Donovan at right back, Murray and Scales at center back, Tierney at left back, McGregor, Bauer, Nigrin in the middle of the park, Duran, Tenekke, Huu up front.

The second thing was Tenekke and Nigrin in the squad together.

Third thing that jumped off the page to me was, okay, it doesn't look like we've gone...

Looks like we're stuck to the four three three.

And the last thing for me was on the bench, the return of Jota.

Absolutely looking forward to that.

Um, I've taken the mickey with the podcast name today.

It's like a new signing because that's the old joke we've had going on for ages.

With Jota coming back, it's gonna be like a new signing on that left wing.

So what was your thoughts heading into the game, Iain, when you saw that starting lineup?

Um, so I think any time I see Tenekke's name on the team sheet, especially to start, gives me the fear.

And if you add that into, um, the same team with the Nigrin in it, um, we're more than a man down, um, just in terms of fight and desire.

Um, Tenekke, uh, he's, he's played all right, you know.

Um, he's, he's bang average.

Um, he's, he's one, one-dimensional.

I said that in the group chat earlier on, you know, he's one-dimensional.

He's got no heart at all.

Um, he's never a Celtic player.

Uh, he never...

I know, I know Yang has kind of proved a lot of people wrong, myself included, but even in the very early, early days with Yang He had something.
