Adam KennedyHOST
7:53
Like, Aberdeen did still have, like, a couple opportunities that I think...
Adam KennedyHOST
7:58
Did Stuart Armstrong go close with one, I seem to recall?
Daniel McIvorHOST
8:00
Yeah, there was a couple that kind of, like, went close, but nothing that...
Daniel McIvorHOST
8:04
Panda didn't make, like, a good save
BillyHOST
0:44
I'm going to say maybe an A- for the week as regards to the whole fixture schedule.
BillyHOST
0:49
Stuart, welcome aboard as well.
StuartGUEST
0:51
Thank you.
StuartGUEST
0:51
Thank you very much for having me back on.
ScottPANELIST
2:52
We could go the entire season and look miserable as long as we're picking up the points and getting into the cup finals.
ScottPANELIST
2:58
That's all that counts for me.
BillyHOST
3:00
Stuart, I'll say the same to you.
BillyHOST
3:01
Your opinions of the game as a whole?
Craig FowlerHOST
15:17
But yeah, I mean, they had their periods and Kevin Nisbet was, but I thought this was even telling as well.
Craig FowlerHOST
15:25
And again, I wrote this article that Like, Stuart Armstrong and Kevin Nisbet were the two most dangerous players.
Craig FowlerHOST
15:31
Stuart Armstrong, 34.
Craig FowlerHOST
15:32
We obviously know that he's very much coming towards the end of his career.
Craig FowlerHOST
15:35
Even Kevin Nisbet, not quite, like, I felt harsh for Singleton about it because he's far from the biggest problem in the squad.

9 MINS LATER

Craig FowlerHOST
25:08
Rangers break from it.
Craig FowlerHOST
25:09
Kelsey does well, just drives the ball forward, brings it up the park.
Craig FowlerHOST
25:13
it's Penrice at left back and I felt that improved him as well because I felt he had a bit more thrust going forward from left back he hits like eventually Kelsey knocks it to Buani his left foot he crosses clear and it's worked back to Penrice Penrice hits a shot and the Deary very good movement inside the penalty area and you can see him for the replays well on side just side calmly side foots at home from seven yards and that was you thought that was it but Stuart Armstrong right near the end like very close
Gary ScottHOST
4:55
The injured Chris Cadden, both dropping out of the squad altogether.
Gary ScottHOST
4:58
Lewis Smith and Stuart Armstrong went to the bench.
Gary ScottHOST
5:01
The lesser spotted, Mitchell Frame, making a return to the squad on the bench.
Gary ScottHOST
5:06
Tony Ogan on there as well.
Gary ScottHOST
5:59
Yeah.
Gary ScottHOST
6:00
It's fair to say that the young German was absolutely distraught when he was withdrawn.
Gary ScottHOST
6:05
Stuart Armstrong coming on, Brad Lyon shifted over to right wing back.
Gary ScottHOST
6:09
I mean, it's hard.
JockHOST
20:04
And we saw it against Hartson, the one-twos with Hartson, it's a good partnership, it's an old school partnership, it's something that, as Doug talked about, the classic Man United, that we've seen, it's like a York and Cole kind of partnership, isn't it? It's something that you don't see at football anymore, because they don't play, most people don't play with two up top, so, long may it continue, long may it continue.
JockHOST
20:28
Doug, Aberdeen had sort of one last chance there towards the end, where, I think Stuart Armstrong fired past the post, we see it through then, um, looking at the comments at the start there and a lot of people saying that this mckinnis football is hard to watch was it really that bad or was it just just indecision and just poor decision making and just a wee bit of luck missing for it to be more than more than one now
DougPANELIST
20:53
Yeah, I mean, I think that's a little bit harsh.
DougPANELIST
20:55
It's difficult to watch because you're on the edge of your seat for 90 minutes because we're not getting the goals.
ColinGUEST
47:53
I think they do need to maybe realise where they are in the pecking order in Scotland, which is probably at a pushforth.
ColinGUEST
48:01
And they've had pretty much zero success the last 10, 15 years, other than a couple of running Celtic close, but... you know, that's ancient history now, and the way that club's handled itself over the last, like, five years, I've had money pumped into it left, right and centre by Dave Gormack, and I've had, you know, what, four or five managers, and, you know, Aberdeen fans were wanting rather Jimmy to lean until they were blown to face, and all of a sudden I'm seeing folk now want him back, and it's like, he already was unborrowed time and he probably got six months gratuity because of the Scottish Cup win and now they're all looking back again I just think there's a massive massive problem in that club and I think the squad's rotting to the core to be totally honest I know they get I know Robinson trimmed most of the fat but I just don't think that you know a 34 35 year old Stuart Armstrong's really going to be your really your answer I just don't see it I don't think to be honest with you Ola Sanya's your answer Kevin Nisbet's propping that club up to be honest with his goals at the start of the season but They're rotten.
ColinGUEST
48:58
They're absolutely rotten and they don't look like a team that's willing to roll their sleeves up and work and see under Stephen Robinson, see if you're not willing to do the basics and run, which by the way is free.
ColinGUEST
49:06
You'll not be successful.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
34:07
Listen, they were trying, they were all trying.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
34:08
Stuart Armstrong, especially in the middle of the park, he was the one trying to get them going.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
34:12
Again, it's not another great home performance.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
34:15
I think they lost the last game here to St. Johnston.
Neil ForsythGUEST
33:35
It was a challenge on, um-
Jackie McNamaraHOST
33:37
Stuart Armstrong
Neil ForsythGUEST
33:37
...
Neil ForsythGUEST
33:37
Stuart Armstrong.
Neil ForsythGUEST
33:38
Yeah.
Jackie McNamaraHOST
33:38
So, like, at the time, right, it, I actually changed the starting 11 for the first, I said see for the first 10 minutes, 'cause I knew he would do it to Goldie.
Gary ScottHOST
2:53
Not really those two players playing as wingers, more like inside forwards if you think about old money football.
Gary ScottHOST
2:59
That lasted about 15 minutes and then we went to a 4-4-2 which saw Stuart Armstrong on the left wing.
Gary ScottHOST
3:06
Not entirely sure anyone's had that on the bingo card at the start of the season.
Gary ScottHOST
3:11
And let's be honest, not an awful lot really happening in the first half.

19 MINS LATER

Gary ScottHOST
21:48
We changed the shape after 15 minutes yesterday, which is a sign of the fact it's not working.
Gary ScottHOST
21:53
And I'm sorry, if you're flitting between...
Gary ScottHOST
21:56
Stuart Armstrong and Brad Lyons as your wingers when you've actually got wingers sitting on the bench whether they're good or bad you've actually got players who that's a natural position for them to play in are sitting there and you choose not to put them on at the same time I mean we took Smith off didn't have a great game last night don't get me wrong and he replaced him with Mahou Mahou also it's fair to say I can see why he was a free transfer and was available um maybe benefit though lacking sharpness but let's go with that I don't think he's gonna be Becoming the most beloved Hisham of the football club anytime soon.
Gary ScottHOST
22:37
Even when he brought him on, he decided at the same point, we're going to take on Marshall.
Andy BarghHOST
52:52
Who did you travel back with? I think so, there was
Nicky DevlinGUEST
52:55
a few of us then, Stu, I can actually remember Stuart Armstrong now, because it was the second, I never knew, I didn't know him, sorry, until the second camp, and now obviously he's up at Aberdeen, and he's, I got on really well with him, when we were away with Scotland because he gets well he's really close with Lyndon so Lyndon obviously is someone that I knew as I said before so I was kind of gravitating towards him a lot so like I ended up getting on really well with Stu and then he's obviously signed recently for Aberdeen so yeah I remember just China travelling back I think I think Connor Barron was potentially any of the boys that were maybe central to Glasgow or near Glasgow Edinburgh were kind of all on the same flight back but then as I said a lot of the boys were flying back off to obviously the boys in Italy and stuff there were three or four boys from Italy playing in Italy so they were flying to different places.
Andy BarghHOST
53:53
Going back to the changing room after the Poland game again just through your eyes what were you seeing? Is there anybody or anything in particular that you remember?
Nicky DevlinGUEST
54:02
Yeah, no, it was just obviously a kind of, as I say, it was just like a happy dressing room, to be honest.
