I can't imagine what it's like being, although they're trained and paid for it, to be employed to tell people things they don't want to hear.
So he said, well, he's going to have some problems with muscular sort of tightness in his arms and his legs, but didn't really go into anything in depth, but did refer me to something, some things to read.
But, you know, if you're not a professional, you kind of see it in a different way.
Certainly the first hospital in Walsworth, they now, after you've seen the neurologist, you see a dementia nurse.
But then saying that, if you'd have had that opportunity, do you think you'd have wanted somebody to have guessed? Because at best it's a guess, isn't it? It is.
I had already read enough to say, for example, that with Alzheimer's, it's only an average.
I think from the time of initial diagnosis, assuming it's early on, it's something like eight to 10 years before it develops towards end of life.
With Alzheimer's, you get your prognosis is split into seven phases, I think, from what I remember.
Whereas with the prognosis for CBD or PSP, the ones that Tom had, they only affect something like the PSP, 6,000 people in the UK any given year.
