We, I didn't really run this by you, but I wanted to talk to you because I think we had, coming into the season, a lower opinion of David Gabriel, uh, Georges than the recruiting services did.
And I think it was, I, I think it was valid based on the junior tape.
It wasn't very good.
We watched four games of him.
It wasn't anything impressive.
You've watched some of his senior stuff, and you think he looks a lot better?
Uh, yeah.
And I'm at the point where I've tentatively kind of moved him into my RB1 spot.
Um, you know, everyone, the listeners of the show I'm sure keep up with, you know, the news enough where they've seen all of his highlights on Twitter.
And you know, I, I've went through and watched his games, and you know, I, I did come away very impressed.
Um, I, I thought, you know, he, he's looked significantly better as just like a pure runner, um, hitting the right holes, uh, be- better footwork behind the line for sure, um, better tackle breaking for sure.
I, especially, that was probably my biggest disappointment with last season i- in the games I watched from his junior year was, you know, th- he's this massive physical specimen, has awesome numbers, but I wasn't really seeing him, like, creating and, you know, forcing break tack- force breaking tackles in the back field, um, and making those really difficult plays.
Whereas this year, I mean, he, he is, uh, excelling in that area.
So, um, you know, he definitely did jump up a good bit for me, and uh, I, I've been very impressed.
And you know, he's right up there.
He could end up as my number one player in the class.
I do have, uh, I'm on an island on this take, but I do have Nick Lanier as my top player in the class.
Um, and he's not too far off from that, so uh, I, I would say that, that's still very much open.
All right, big news there.
Uh, you had...
Did you say, do you have him in tier one yet?
I do, yes.
Or is he just south of it? You do.
Okay.
No, he, he is above it now.
