Our teaching for our first service this morning is titled, God's Grace Leads to Obedience.
No matter how true this might be, it is such a challenge for many of us Christians to live out for various reasons.
And we know that the true and living God knows that it's a challenge for us as well.
It can't be defined.
But our lives do not stop at His grace.
And we see that this reflects our ultimate loving, responsive relationship to Him.
And it's all through the Scriptures, Old and New Testament.
It is the blueprint for our sanctification.
And our sanctification is a lifelong process.
And for me, as I go through the Word of God, I cannot help but to notice how repetitive it is.
Do you see that? And that's for a reason.
Because we need to hear it over and over and over again, in order for it to sink in.
That's why it's there.
I mean, last week we had back to back services that dealt with the subject of sin.
And here today, We find ourselves back at it again.
Now it may be from another angle, but it's still dealing with the topic of sin in some way.
And what's worse, if I can say it like that, is that it does not end in chapter seven.
It becomes more intense.
It's not like I'm picking it.
You think I want to talk about this? We have to face it though.
