I think my biggest takeaway had to be that we finally did something different.

Um, uh, I was telling Caitlin when I was watching on NWSL+, and when they put up Racing's, uh, starting 11 graphic, I was like, "There's no way that's correct.

There's no way that Taylor Flint is playing center back, that, um, Quincy McMahon is playing on the right side as a wing back," and that's exactly what w- what happened.

And, um, I think combination of the whole team buying into the new formation and Houston just not being prepared for it, um, led to some really good moments, really good sustained pressure for Racing f- uh, which, I mean, Racing is a team that has been very attached to a traditional 4-4-3 lineup, and so it was really nice to see something different out of the club.
Um, like Brendan said, we were talking about this before you got on, Tom, and, uh, this past weekend at the game, I, uh, went to the game with some friends and I, uh, watched it from the waterfront end, which is not, um, my usual my usual, uh, spot that I watch the game from.
And I was like, you know, rubbing my eyes like, "Is, is Taylor Flint-- What is she doing back here?"
Um, but I was glad to see that we tried something new when what we've been doing has not been working.
I, uh, y- the, um, y- you kinda made me chuckle, Brendan, when you said, "I thought that the NWSL Plus had a mistake," because that would not be the first time.
I mean, half the time they put up the racing lineup and you're like, "Well, that's, that's obviously wrong." And then you feel, you feel bad that your team's being disrespected.
