Rachel's is a lot easier place for me to get to than to come all the way down into downtown New Bedford.

There are so many different places within the city of New Bedford that you could hold it if the venue in and of itself was a problem.

But what I remember reading is the fact that they couldn't get the vendors to come out on a Saturday or a Sunday.

Well, apparently they couldn't get too many vendors to come out on a Tuesday night either.

Because if you only have 12 to 14 vendors at a event where you're used to having 25, 30, 40 vendors, you got a problem getting vendors for another reason.

And then I started thinking, you know, I remember reading this week that Whaler's Tavern, is going out of business.

Bottom line, and I think if I'm not an active member, the radio station is a chamber member.

I would say that to the vendors, you know, they were talking about shopping the Chowder Fest around.
