Emmys (Matthew Rhys!) Recap, CBS Airs Pentagon Propaganda, Kushner's Secret Putin Deals Exposed, and Sydney Sweeney's New Ad 🥴

I do want to ask Jeff, if you don't mind, Julie, just really quick.

I'm so curious because, you know, we do talk about all things media here and news and journalism and all these things, but we do talk about the other side, which is like Hollywood and creative arts and things like that.

And I'm so interested to know, if you watched the Emmys this week.

I

didn't, I missed

it.

I forgot it was on.

Oh my goodness.

And you know, having been a TV critic back in the day, I used to care about it and I covered it.

And then in some recent years, I wasn't watching much TV, but now I am and I would have enjoyed it and I didn't.

Well, how was it?

I thought it was a really good broadcast.

I thought it was, they were under like with time at the end, Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are actually trying to like vamp, which I thought was incredible.

I thought that the production was great.

I thought there was a great, they're a very good tribute to Catherine O'Hara as well as Rob Reiner and, The In Memoriam is always obviously very beautiful.

Mariska Hardigay did a great job hosting.

There were cameos from Jalen Brunson and Taylor Swift.

Obviously, Widows Bay swept.

They won a bajillion awards.

So have you both watched Widows Bay? I haven't.

I have not watched Widow's Bay.

I'm waiting so I can sit down.

It's very good.

It is good.

And by the end, I kind of got the gag.
