I'm Brandon Carney alongside Pat Gustafson here for your July 1st, 2026 edition of the Brand Coverage Mostly Fantasy Football Podcast, as we continue this week with our divisional fantasy football previews.
It's funny, the two wests I feel like, 'cause we did the AFC West last week, NFC West this week.
Those, outside of your Raiders historically, have been two of the [laughs] two of the most juicy divisions for fantasy football.
Probably the two most, 'cause I mean, look, every time we get to a division every week we try to look at the positives of each one and we're like, "You know, this division's pretty good.
That division's pretty good." But the NFC West is truly between the Niners and the Rams.
The coaching that they have, the just high-end offensive production that those teams create every single year.
Um, those are really the ones that, that we hang our hat on every single year.
Yeah, and the thing is, even for real life football going into this year, you've got the defending Super Bowl champions, the odds on favorite to be the next Super Bowl champions, and the 49ers, who always seem to either find their way into it or be a horrendous disappointment due to the injury lab or whatever the fuck.
So this is, uh, gonna be a really competitive division IRL, minus the Cardinals of course.
And it's gonna be a great fantasy division, so it's good to talk about, but we do have a lot to talk about today.
There is some football news, some of it hilarious, some of it hilariously sad, and NBA free agency as well.
