But I want to start with you because you're the one that suggested this idea and you had a couple sparks that made you think along these lines.

So are we going to define the term? Are we going to talk about other things? What is it there?

It's a wonderful time we have one channel called the curmudgeon channel and I don't know what exactly sparked me to make this statement But I was probably listening to some other podcast or whatever but I just randomly put into the channel that the word elegance should never ever be used to describe a board game and And that got people a little riled up, but not much.

But as we're, one of the reasons I disliked the term, and I said this in our notes, is that one, I feel like it's just kind of a hipster new term that people just throw around without really giving it any thought.

You know, it's, if you should be able to describe why you like a game without just saying it's elegant, what does that even mean? It's, it's just, it's too broad.

One of the other reasons I brought up Gold Country as my opener is that I'm going to do my best.

I'm going to try this entire podcast to never use a Reiner Knizia game as an example.
