But let's get right into this matchup, right? Five and a half point dogs, Washington commanders on the road up there in Philly at the lake.
Philadelphia is one of the only teams, one of the few teams in the league that had 2,000-yard pass catchers.
How does Makai Lemon replace A.J. Brown's production, or are they going to have to get it elsewhere in that offense?
I don't think he's going to be able to replace that kind of production right off the bat.
I think that Mekhi Lemon, he's number one, he did miss considerable time during training camp because he had the hamstring injury.
Number two, in terms of Mekhi Lemon, I think because of the fact that he did get his feet wet in the final preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, that it's going to take time for him to get acclimated into the Charmian offense, something that we in Philadelphia, we still have yet to to learn about, you're not gonna see much of anything in preseason and for good reason, as you guys understand.
So when you talk about the trade of A.J. Brown and how and where is that production going to come from this receiving core, I think it's going to be basically by committee, essentially, in which that, look, Devontae Smith is gonna be the number one receiver.
But I also wonder about guys like, you know, like Darius Cooper, who I think he's who's going to play an important role for this receiving a core as well.
I'm curious to see how Hollywood Brown will also fit into this picture as well.
