They play Cincinnati in the, uh, the Brendan Sorsby bowl that does not include Brendan Sorsby.

Um, but, uh, some of the drama taken out of this one because of that, but, uh, Texas tech thoughts around this game.

Here's what's cool is Cincinnati actually grades really efficiently offensively, and we don't give them enough credit for what their offense has done this year.

and and that's because you know you look back at the arizona game they were held with seven points the west virginia game their offense exploded but the only but they lost the game because they allowed 45 points and i think inconsistent is the word that we should use for the bearcats here they snuck up on miami of ohio which is a weird team to sneak up on but they had to rally to win that game and then beat kansas state i've stayed confused about cincinnati but i finally think they've found consistency and that consistency is being not a very good football team Um, I, I personally am in the fire Scott Satterfield camp.

And so the more losses that come kind of the better for that, for that take, you got Texas tech, then Utah, then Houston, and even that game against Iowa state after that's rough.

Uh, I think Cincinnati probably goes, oh, and four in their next four, the bear cats dropped this one.

Problem is their defense is number 104 against the pass and number 90 against the run efficiency-wise.

I don't know how well you follow college football, TJ, but both of those are bad.

not great what do they do well that could maybe present some problems for texas tech i know we're we're pretty high on texas tech and really have been told people not to sell their stock even when things were a little bumpy there at the beginning what were the things they could maybe do to give themselves a better chance of making this a four-quarter game

Yeah, we were far away from Cincinnati being 5-1 if they were able to close out a win last week against West Virginia, and they didn't.

I'll say this, that what would scare me about Cincinnati is their ability to throw the ball with J.C. French.

Last week was a true coming out party for French, who had 389 passing yards and three touchdowns.
