We're the next legacy of college football.

Like, I see why you guys were fighting so hard for Brendan Sorsby to play, because you ain't got shit else.

You barely, like, come on now.

We're talking about Abilene Christian.

Yeah, I would have picked Tech.

I wasn't a huge Sorsby guy, but I'm still not sold on Will Hammond.

I just think that when the going gets tough, if he's a guy that has enough experience, that team is loaded, absolutely.

But I just like the way BYU felt, returning a guy like Martin.

the season, I said 11-1.

Our one loss was to Texas Tech, but then Sorsby got his FanDuel account taken away.

So now I'm going 12-0.

You're going to have, we're setting up to have two dueling decisions from two dueling courts.

Mike, not so dissimilar to what was setting up with the Brendan Sorsby lawsuit.

When the conference had the federal decision and the state, Texas had a state court decision that seemed to allow him to play.

And obviously a judge in Lubbock, Texas is going to decide for Texas Tech nine times out of ten.

LeBron doesn't meet it.

But at some point, there's going to be someone that can shift the tides of a season, and someone's going to test it.

Texas Tech didn't want to take a chance with Brendan Sorsby with all the punishments coming their way.

And LSU doesn't want to take a chance with these players.

The problem here was going to be the decision as it – the decision was made by the federal court judge to allow these players to play.

We had a different situation slightly in the Sorsby because, yes, he was allowed to play, but – that the whole stigma of the gambling and everything else was really going to be a problem.

And so I think that certainly there, like you said, the adults in the room stepped in.

The SEC has a bigger problem here because of the ruling that exists, and you just can't get around it.

And they don't control the integrity of the game.

Even though the Big Ten, when the Brendan Sorsby stuff was coming out, they said we're not going to schedule Texas Tech for anything for the integrity of the game.

And then you go and do this stuff this past weekend.

So don't even – don't sit here and talk to me about integrity of the game when you do that.

And so I don't think there's a lot of workarounds on that deal.

And I think, you know, ultimately, whether you talk about the Texas Tech issue of Sorsby and the gambling dynamic of last summer, whether you talk about all of us having to be at the table to lock in on this professional athlete rule, then...

the outcome to me is a stronger, more unified Big 12.

I mean, I think that's what locally when I talk about our conference, that's what I feel.
