... assume that you saw Spain deliver one of the most comprehensively assured displays against a heavily favored and what was a visibly lethargic France yesterday evening.
I think Luis De La Fuente has again proven that, you know, there doesn't always have to be a requirement for a hero on every single occasion.
And I looked at it and when I, I thought that when a group of players buy into a team collective, you know, the team first mentality quite clearly ruled the roost yesterday evening, epitomizing why the man has been so truly successful with the country everywhere from under 19 up to senior level.
It was quite the team display yesterday evening for Spain, wasn't it?

First of all, 90% of the football, I know e- everyone has different takes on this.
Mm-hmm.

Um, obviously the World Cup, like all tournaments, get tainted by, you know, our, our, our, our, our regulators, by the officials, by the administrators who of course, you know, do everything they can to destroy a beautiful game.

But most of the games I've been really entertained by, and usually the World Cup is just something that, um, you know, stops the withdrawals and something that I just am mildly engaged in.

And with Spain, Spain's a perfect example of making the best of what you have and, and, and building tactics around what you have, not what you want to have.

Th- they're, they're brilliant defensively, but the way they found a goal threat in that team, even not going through Lamine Yamal is, you know, Oy- Oyarzabal, you know, Dani Olmo, just the way they, they, they have a threat and I, and there's a certain confidence about the Spanish that they expect to win.

And to be honest, Seán, you know, the brilliant Pepe Lopez against them, you know, um, they never looked like, to me, becoming a, a, a, a World Cup final, a, a World Cup, uh, you know, a team w- get to a World Cup final.

The, the way they play to their strengths with what they have is, is really interesting.
