Luke Spickler AWWS ND Champion

yeah wow yeah so i mean some of these events so like they're you know no strategy in this game right but it's it's not fishing like one of our tournaments or an, an MWT or MWC or any of the other ones where your fish, you have seven.

Um, and then you, you have to decide what you want to do.

Yeah.

So like in this one, you don't got to make that gamble, you know, with a 26, 25 inch or like, Oh, should I not even cast this one? I'll make a tough decision,

you know,

stuff like that.

It, you can fish a little bit more loose.

I feel like, um, you're not as stressing as much.

Yeah,

not as much pressure.

You can put the first five on your card if you want.

Day one, at one point, we had a 19-incher on our card.

Really? Well, I guess if you can put 40 on the card, you take what you get, right?

That also came back to bite me and Hunter in the butt pretty big time this year.

It cost me and Hunter, I think it was $2,500 by throwing one back early in the morning, and that cost us a little bit.

Really? Okay, so here's one question because I've never fished the east end.

I've always fished the arm.

So out here, we're fishing the middle of, which really cracks me up because nobody ever fished the middle of the river.

Now everybody's out there.

So we're not fishing the middle of Sakakawea on that east end at all, right? There's no trees or anything out there.

So you're fishing structure closer to shore, right?

There is trees.

They are, so the east end is way deeper and the trees are a lot deeper.

So the trees are, they're about 65 feet.

The tops are around 65 to 70 down.
