Have you ever been to TJ? Do you know where that is? The Newport kids took a trip and some things went down.
yeah so like we said at the top we're gonna be talking about season one episode seven entitled the escape but also like for people that have seen the oc or know about the oc i feel like this is more commonly known as the tj episode the episode where they go to tijuana and greta like do you want to tell Like what was happening between us behind the scenes discussing this?
Right.
And we were listing some and I was like, or Katie was listing some because Katie's more of the expert on this show.
And I kept saying like, oh, yeah, that makes sense.
That makes sense.
That makes sense.
But then Katie kept saying, and the TJ episode.
And I was convinced this was about some guy named TJ.
And for the life of me, I could not remember who TJ was.
And so finally I had to confess to Katie and I said, I'm so sorry, I don't remember TJ.
And I don't remember the episode about him.
And I was like, right.
So, Greta, why did we choose this episode?
Well, I feel like we chose it because, largely because of the episode that we want to do next.
Yeah.
Which for people who know is the Christmaca episode.
Yeah.
And we felt that jumping from the pilot to Christmaca would be too big of a leap.
And this was kind of a good middle point to like touch base with some of our favorite plot developments in season one.
All within season one.
Yeah, and I would also add too that even though it is like a nice little stopping point for us here, I do think in its own right this is an iconic episode of the show.
