It's so exciting to just hear your story because I think that is the dream, right? You know, you spend time with a house and you make a difference in the community that you serve.

And what really struck me about that is a lot of what you mentioned, it was comprised of people who were just exploring people who were getting ready to open their homes and people who had had open homes for many years.

And we were all in that room together, sharing ideas, helping with best practices so that we don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Like we really can learn from each other and build off of something that's already very established so that we can just get out and help people.

And never have I ever found in all my work, and I do a lot of consulting work, a group of nonprofit organizations that so freely work with each other and share with each other.

There is often this, we've got to worry about ourselves and we're going to focus on us.

And I mean, it's not ironic at all to me because isn't that our mission? open our arms, open our hearts to the others who want to do our work.

And it's really a case of what do you need? You know, we are all an open book and how that has flourished with homes that are just open, who are teaching homes that have been open for 30 years, something new.

Something new to do, a better way to care, a way to be more inclusive, a way to really respond to the different dynamics of the different families we care for.
