So in Chinese medicine and in Touch for Health, which all three of us have been trained in that Touch for Health modality.
It has an electrical communication, memory focused sleep, and our soul's connection.
So it is a huge part of how we function and the way that we want to be living our lives.
The heart generates an electromagnetic field that is 5,000 times stronger than the brain.
So as Kate was talking about adding that coconut oil to make sure the brain is getting everything it needs, you can imagine when it's healthy and you add in that electromagnetic field from the heart, how much power we're gonna have.
And when we partner that with the small intestine, This is responsible for discernment.
Physically, it's sorting the nutrients that we've taken in, come through digestion, they come down to small intestine, and it either goes to waste or it becomes part of the nutrition that's going to support our cells.
And it's also the place that we emotionally sort truth from overwhelm, nourishment from excess.
When it's imbalanced, we might overextend ourselves, lose focus or memory, struggle with digestion or sleep.
We might feel emotionally scattered or disconnected, or we might lose joy or passion for what once mattered to us.
And sometimes we think these things have slipped away, but it really just means there's an imbalance.
And when we bring it back into balance, those things can easily be adjusted and you can be back to the feelings that you were, you were enjoying before.
From a touch for health perspective, the key muscles that are related to this element includes subscapularis for inner stability and emotional containment, the quadriceps.
And the abdominals, your core support, digestion and emotional processing.
So these muscles, if they're not used, overused, they can create imbalance within that system.
