CARNY TO CONGRESS EP 17

jake how's everything going with you buddy busy man uh the the election's definitely had us you know We had our hands full.

And I don't really think there was really that close of anything.

No race was really super close to where like...

Recounts or anything like that.

Nothing like that.

But overall, I think Southwest Florida made a lot of good decisions.

Yeah.

So...

And you can see in Southwest Florida, you know, I've been elected a few times here from the very beginning.

But like my consultant said the first time, you know, as soon as the ballots drop from mail-in, you know the results.

That's usually what happens.

And you can even see that what happened with Catalina Loft, got the Trump endorsement.

But nearly 70% of all Lee County voters in District 19 had already voted.

because a lot of people are up north a lot of people i mean i had a ton of phone calls people calling me like hey who do i vote for and like i talked about it before it's it's kind of upsetting i wish people would spend a little bit more time and research you know who's out there what's going on um but um i think everything went went well you know we got jim schwartzel the local from southwest florida uh it's great it's great to have a local in there Florida boy.

Florida boy, born and raised, so that's good.

Local guy's great.

We don't like carpetbaggers down here.

There was quite a few.

I think Jim Oberweiss did a good job.

He ran a lot, but just an older guy just didn't have the, I don't think, the grit, you know, to it.

I think Jim did a good job.

Schwartzel, Loft, you know, I mean, I've never seen her, never met her.

She seems like a nice girl.

I know some people that know her, seems like a nice gal.

But just surprising, you know, I know she, like you said, she canceled on a bunch of speaking engagements locally.
