Aces DESTROY Dream in Atlanta Behind A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum's Mercury Debut, Liberty Beat Storm

First and foremost, we got- The Liberty beating the Storm 95 to 83.

To start off with the Liberty, a- again, like this is a, this is a bit more of the performance you would expect from the Liberty generally speaking in terms of their on-paper talent and going against a team like Seattle that has less, right? Like, this is the more all-around, uh, the well-balanced scoring that you're hoping for, right? Jonquel gets involved.

The shot diet is still a little eh for my taste personally, personally.

You know, I don't exactly love seeing 10 threes from the, the, the, quote, "big guard," according to Coach DeMarco.

Not my, not my cup of tea, but you know what? 20 points is 20 points.

They were able to keep it well-balanced and efficient game from Sabrina and ultimately Stewie.

I mean, it's, it's Stewie, man.

Like it, this, there is, like, the ultimate caveat of this season that is, like, c- just continuing to exist with the three-point shooting.

I just don't care anymore because, [laughs] like, of, of how great everything else has been.

Like, she ends up 24 points, eight rebounds, six assists, zero turnovers in this game, and you're still getting the defensive a- a- aspect of having Stewie on your team.

So to me, this is the more...

This is, like, the blueprint in my eyes in a lot of ways, this win.

It was a, a pretty smooth coasting game.

Like, Seattle was able to keep it relatively close at times, like, but just never within, like, full-on striking distance, and that is the, the type of more peaceful win, if you will, that you're hoping for if you're New York is something like this against a team like Seattle.

And that has just not always been the case by any means over the course of this season for the Liberty, and it's nice to see them, if you're a Liberty fan, be able to go and get this and have a more balanced attack and balanced win where your depth gets involved and, again, just relatively efficient as well.

You shoot good from the three-point line, 41%.

You shoot 50% from the field.

All in all, this is a win that you're absolutely gonna take if you're the New York Liberty.

For Seattle, I got some good, I got some bad.

Maybe not bad, but I got some...

I got a question mark maybe more so.

We'll start with the good, Flau’jae Johnson.

I... [laughs] Look, man, I'm such a believer.

I really am.

Like, this is, they're, th- that is just a good basketball player.
