Mm-hmm.
2:15
There have been moments where we've seen the Atlanta Dream come back 10, 15-point deficits, right? And they're able to lock in down the stretch.
2:22
Even in those moments where they were trying to get things going, it just seems like the momentum just wasn't there.
2:28
Um, I thought Angel Reese tried her best to kinda carry the team on her back.

4:43
Mm-hmm
4:43
...
4:43
they were completely sloppy today.
4:46
And I think that right now, I hope that during film, 'cause you have less than what? 48 hours before you turn around and see Phoenix on Wednesday, right? Where now they have a brand new team-
28:49
bucket.
28:50
Taya Cooper, Katie Lucy.
28:52
I mean, all of these hoopers, you know, I grew up watching Andrea Carter go at it.
28:58
Diamond DeShields, Lexi Brown.
29:01
Yeah.
29:02
All of those Georgia girls, you know, it was so dope going to AAU tournaments and seeing the older girls go at it and have these big offers and stuff like that.
29:11
And so now you go over to this new generation, Andrew.
34:07
And I'm curious if you've also seen that in how these players carry themselves, like, is there maybe not a, you know, as a professional, um, just yet is, is the word, but a, a feeling that like we deserve this, like we have earned this,
12:29
Mm-hmm.
12:30
Anxiety.
12:31
I think as humans, and I've learned to embrace it, like I tell people all the time, I have high functioning anxiety.
12:36
I've been diagnosed for it.
12:38
I take daily medication for it.
12:40
I meditate, I go to therapy simply because when we factor in the traumas that we felt as athletes, and you could have had a great experience, things of that sort, but when I say traumas, I don't mean just going to an institution and things didn't work out or having a traumatizing experience.
12:57
It could be something as simple as I had this knee injury, and I am so afraid to put any weight-bearing energy on it because if I do, I might hurt it again.

So you already talked about the importance you feel like of, like, having a plan B as an athlete, right? Is that something you went into college understanding, like, yes, I'm gonna do the basketball thing, but I also plan to, like, get a degree and, like, use this degree outside of that? Talk to me about the balance between being a very active athlete but also having commitments for class and maybe even other extracurriculars.
