NFL Week 1 Picks - Road to 272 Bets - 2026 NFL Season

It's the same rules as every other year.

Yeah, exact same rules this year as opposed to last year.

I will bet, I will place one bet on all 272 games.

All 272 bets will be one unit flat bet.

I know a lot of people like to bet to win one unit.

So, you know, you adjust your unit size to make it so that you just win one bet.

No, this is one bet flat unit per wager.

So if it's like a minus 120, I would win less money than I will on a minus 110.

All bets will be on a spread, total, or money line underdog.

This is a key rule.

I do not bet on money line favorites.

So spread, total, or money line underdog.

You notice there's no player props.

I will be betting player props in other areas this season, but because I record and place my bets for the next week on Monday nights, player props aren't released at that point, so player props aren't an option.

My picks get locked into Monday night when I record, either halfway through or at the end of Monday night football.

I then record.

By the time you wake up on Tuesday, you'll be able to read my picks, listen to my picks, watch my picks.

You can read them on si.com slash betting, my written article version of these picks.

You can watch on YouTube, which I please encourage you to do.

Subscribe to the Bacon Bets podcast on YouTube, or you can listen to it wherever you get your podcast, Bacon Bets podcast.

Uh, another rule, I must place at least one Moneyline underdog bet each week.

So every week I have to take an underdog on the Moneyline.

There will be weeks where I'll take more than one, but I do need to place at least one Moneyline underdog.

All bets will be placed at regulated sports books.

I'm not allowed to bet on offshore sports books.
