Watching this again might just have used up all nine of our lives. Join Tanner and Tim as they trek through (mostly) ill-advised Batman spinoff movies! Will Clayface be any different? Stay tuned!…
So speaking of Batman Returns, we'll start in 1993, the year after that came out.
And Batman Returns, I mean, obviously we were, you were too young to watch it back then and I was not alive yet.
But that was kind of a weird, it's almost too dark for most audiences back then.
That's why they, you know, rebooted it into Batman Forever with the neon everywhere.
But I mean, back when this is, you know, superheroes were not a sure thing back then.
And, you know, DC or Warner Brothers, I guess, was kind of like, you know, that's why they ended up completely retooling it.
But but before they did that, before they eventually changed ship entirely for the tone, they did announce the spinoff of Catwoman off of Batman Returns.
So initially, this movie would have been a not only a Michelle Pfeiffer joint playing the same character, but directed by Tim Burton again, and the same writer as Batman Returns, Daniel Waters coming back.
Would you have liked to have seen that the like the the Burtonverse live on in that way?
So I don't think I watched it fully until like middle school or high school, maybe.
So, I mean, yeah, any continuation of that I would have been fine with, I think.
