Frances Conroy

I think I have some other names here.

Justin Long, Francis Conroy, Troy Baker.

Anyway, uh, but just also the main cast is just fantastic.

They are, they are really kind of magical together.

And so Patience then whisks off to this old Victorian house that is like the only house... surrounded by high-rise buildings.

Patience returns the cat to owner Ophelia Powers, played by Francis Conroy of American Horror Story fame, and other things, who explains that the cat's name is Midnight, and Ophelia tells Patience about the lore of Egyptian mows, and then we get a few crazy cat lady shenanigans before Patience tries to get the hell out of there.

And on her way out... philia throws catnip at a patient who then catches it and goes apeshit over it and of course she has to

be like catnip yeah i take it back i think that's the worst part of the film for me yeah like the smelling of the cat like just the way she acts it was like oh my god

Well, it's because

I think that there is an expectation of when his mother returns, when Francis Conroy, old lady, which is a great-

Perfect casting.

When she walks in and literally- everyone on the outside sees this two person operation

That keeps it tethered to this larger mystery that will never get to be explored.

And as always, Frances Conroy, who's just great at what she does.

And she picks up the role of Mrs. Raven, the archetype previously brought to us with the Mrs. Carmody role.

Um, and this is, this is a little bit different because it's quieter, it's less inflammatory and it is, you know, less fire and brimstone and more mother earth, earthly, you know, nature and let, you know, just listen to nature.

I mean, I grew up watching the original Batman movie and a little, not a whole lot, but a little bit of the TV show.

I mean, the Adam West movie and Eartha Kitt and the other actress who played Catwoman early on.

And then, of course, Anne Hathaway's depiction in Dark Knight Rises.

That was kind of the only two versions I was prominently familiar with.

But overall, I think she did a pretty good job.

We'll get more into the writing in a little bit.

But as an actress, fine job.

She did a good job.

The, with the girl that died, um, Frances Conroy.

Yeah.

But I mean, they always find ways to bring them back.

And so when Rainn, he ga- he got a big arc on, uh, Six Feet Under, possibly the greatest show of our lifetimes, and so I was like, "Holy cow.

One of us got cast." And he had that crazy, there was, like, a romance between him and Frances Conroy, or at least a, at least a flirtation.

Yeah, yeah.

I was like, "Oh my God."
