So Rob Rinder, MBE, obviously Robert Rinder, is a British criminal law barrister, broadcaster, TV presenter turned author.

Now two decades of hands-on legal experience and writing TV scripts were the pathways that led Rob Rinder to make the complexities of the justice system both accessible and entertaining.

Rob has released three previous novels in his Legal Thrillist series based around the barrister Adam Green.

They are all inspired by his own experience as a barrister and each book focuses on a different case.

Now, the series started with the trial, followed by the suspect and most recently the protest in 2025.

Just a little note that Rob was also a participant in Who Do You Think You Are, which became the inspiration for the documentary called The Holocaust, My Family and Me.

And also he did a travelogue series with Ryland as well, didn't he? They were swanning off around places like when you do.

Also, it was the great, what was it called in the 18th century when all the young men went off on the great tour, the grand tour.

Also, funny enough, Ryland just does a very, very short feature in this book as well, which made me laugh.

Now, in terms of what the book is actually about, this is where we just go, we're just going to read the blurb from the back of the book, which is what we always do.

At MP-turned-wellness guru Adrian Wells' glitzy launch for a bath salt that promises to reverse aging, someone is about to turn up the heat.
